Patenggang lake or Situ Patenggang is a lake located in the heart of the natural attractions in South Bandung, 35KM from Bandung city, West Java, Java Island, Indonesia, precisely in Ciwidey. Located at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level, the lake has a very exotic scenery. Situ patenggang also has beautiful natural scenery, because nearby there is a spread of tea gardens.

totally disappears in the morning (around 9.a.m or 10.a.m). The fog
quickly falls if rain and cover the entire lake so that visibility is
short. In the middle of the lake there is a small island with a rock. To
reach the island you can use the boat or small boat for two.
The Size of the lake is approximately 45,000 hectares. As well as the total area of nature reserves reached 123,077.15 hectares. The lake is surrounded by tea gardens, so you can stroll around. For you who like backpackers, Patenggang lake could be one of the best destinations because you can camp alongside a lake.
If
you land at the Soekarno Hatta airport in Jakarta, continue the journey
to the Bandung City (2 hours from Jakarta by car). Then continue to
Ciwidey (small town) through Leuwipanjang terminal bus if you don't use a
car, you can use a bus from here, it takes 2 hours. From the small town
Ciwidey continues to patenggang lake, its take 1.5 hours by car.
Because the journey is long enough, you can rest in the Bandung city and
continue trip to the lake in the next day.
